Despite the company saying they ship in 3-4 days, we still havent received an update on our order from May 31,2020. The first excuse was that covid-19 delayed production or whatever and they would ship our product June 12... it's June 17 and we havent received a tracking number or an update despite having emailed them already.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.
I bought a complete package heatpump system from them, they sent me the wrong outside unit air conditioning only then refused to take it back and sell me the proper unit because it went beyond 30 day return policy.
They refused to listen to the recorded phonecall of my order were unpleasant and condescending like I did not know what I ordered.
I'm out a 1000 dollars and then found out I could buy the same unit locally for less.
What a scam.
I am contacting the BBB,my local representative and the EPA as in this process I found out it's illegal to sell refridgerant equipment to a non liscenced home owner.
Disgusting dishonest company who only cares about their bottom line.
Stay away from AC Wholsalers.

Dealing with this company was an absolute nightmare. Great deals? Yes. Any semblance of communication, either internal or external? Nope. What makes this extra sad is that I honestly believe some of their employees genuinely wanted to help me, but due to more dropped balls than a Chuck-E-Cheese in a sinkhole, they couldn't. So here's my story.
I purchased an AC online mid-July because mine died a brutal, frosty death. The order gave the me ship date and I went about my business, sweaty but confident a very nice air conditioner would soon be showing up. A Koldfront 800btu to be precise. According to the internet, a top rated beauty with the capability to turn a sauna in hell into a meat locker. My kind of appliance. Anyway, I went along my merry way right up until the ship date. I logged in to check the status like a kid on Christmas eagerly peeking out the window to see if I could catch of glimpse of AC Santa, but was met with disappointment. My status said, "Processing."
At that point, I was alarmed. Late July in the middle of a heat wave is a terrible time to try to buy an AC and I had already dealt with the heat for far too long. I contacted the company and spoke to a very nice lady who genuinely wanted to help me. Turned out, ACWholesalers didn't actually have any Koldfront 8000s in stock, even though I had bought the item weeks prior. I politely asked her to cancel my order. She tried everything to make things right, even going so far as to transfer me to their sales department when she saw she had no power, hoping that a sales rep could find me a comparable unit that would ship out, as she didn't know when Koldfront would be getting her more 8000s.
I spoke with the sales rep and it was clear that he saw Helpful Lady's idea utterly beneath him. He ended the conversation as quickly as possible and bounced me back to Helpful Lady the second he got an opening. Not wanting to wait on Schrodinger's AC Unit, I asked for a second time that she just cancel the order. So she said she would and I thought that was the end.
Gentle reader, if that had been it, I wouldn't bother writing this. I bought a different AC from another place that is a large enough company that they don't need my free advertising and moved on with my life. In a way, literally. I moved to a new address. ACWholesalers was entirely forgotten and I busied myself with my unpacking, right up until the beginning of September. That was when I got an email from ACWholesalers saying my order had shipped. wat? I immediately contacted ACWholesalers in a bit of a panic. The original order was supposed to ship to my old address, the one I was no longer living at. I explained this to a different Helpful Lady (HL2?) and she was just as alarmed as I was. But! HL2 was on it. She said she emailed the warehouse for them to cancel the shipment, looped in her boss to review the previous phone call to figure out what went wrong, and seemed to have everything under control. She affirmed that the order was now canceled and everything was fine.
Spoiler: Everything was not fine.
I stayed on top of things this time and when I saw ACWholesalers had charged my credit card a few days later, I contacted them again. This time, their tune changed. All of a sudden, I was highly suspect. Surely I couldn't actually have tried to cancel this order three times already. It was marked as having been delivered! I explained yet again that if it was, that was a huge problem because I didn't live at the delivery address any more and there wasn't anything on my current front porch. Suddenly, they couldn't do anything and this whole mess was my fault and they needed to review all my past interactions (but somehow their internet was down and their boss couldn't pull up the audio from my phone calls?). Clearly, they had my money and there was no way I was getting it back. My only saving grace was that my landlord was understanding and helped me retrieve the AC that had, in fact, been shipped to my old address. I would love nothing more than to return this dang thing, but I have a sneaking suspicion that, if I were to ship this back, I would still never see anything close to a full refund. Shop elsewhere, friends.
UPDATE: When we opened the box for the AC unit to install it after I gave it to a friend? There was a huge dent in the underside. To absolute hell with these scam artists.
Ordered two units in stock when ordered. Call about shipment date.. Its in the Warehouse in Florida, next call it was in the warehouse in Illinois.. SO It finally ships... and both units are received damaged. One was actually damaged and repackaged, and damaged again. Almost two weeks, they are always going to respond via email.. nothing . We are talking $3,000.. It does not seem real important to them, that we are out the money have a build on hold or anything..
Ordered what we thought was a heat pump. Got it to the house, it wasn’t correct. They’re now charging us $245 to return it to them with no ounce of apology other than “sorry you don’t agree with our standard procedures”. Will NEVER use them again for anything!!!
My unit wasn't Registered with Goodman unit was supposed to have a 10 year warranty unit only had a five year warranty AC wholesalers never registered the product with the main factor after it was sold to me I feel it is very dishonest that they did that to me
Ordered a furnance, never came. One response saying someone would get back to me. Almost 2 months later and now ordering from another company. I definitely wouldn't order from them!
Ordered a propane wall furnace was sent a natural gas furnace sent it back they shipped out a new furnace showed same furnace nautral gas we need propane now this is going on for 2 months and still no refund or the right furnace! Multiple emails and phone calls and no answers no refund.
Zero star would be better. AC Wholesales stole our money and time. If you order from this company (we highly recommend not) be sure and get the correct item. I accidentally ordered a natural gas heater (Rinnai) instead of a propane heater. My mistake! So we paid the $224 to ship back on our own dime. But then.....no refund. I’m talking about a $2,276 item! We called, we waited, we emailed, called again, and again and again. Hours upon hours and months of our time spent on the phone. At one point the lady who helped me told me it was in the warehouse and we would get our refund within the week. Did that ever come? No! So it was more calling, more being on hold for hours, and more explaining ourselves. We had to send in documents, emails, proof of shipping back, etc.
it wasn’t until we finally contacted our credit card company and told them the situation did we finally, finally get our refund back from the company!
From the time we shipped the heater back to the time we actually received our refund it was almost 5 months!!!!! We feel like we should’ve been compensated interest and late fees and been compensated for the time we had to spend on the phone and sending them all the correct documents to prove we bought the item and shipped it back.
I wouldn’t touch this company ever again with a 10 foot pole. Worst customer service we’ve ever experienced.
Ordered ductless AC on Oct 8, ship date would be Oct 19. received email saying equipment would be delayed.
tried to contact on Oct 19 could not reach anyone in order service department. on hold for 20 minutes, then 27 minutes after which it rang and extension 516 automated answer said mail box full. Online chat did not work either with multiple tries. tried to cancel order by telling the new order department (press 1) I was cancelling order where I was instantly transferred to the non answering customer service. At this point I am cancelling credit card payment. Can't wait an indefinite period of time.
Added later comment on 11/15/20: I have seen from AC wholesalers, since my original order in early October what appears to be a sincere effort to be clear as to the shortages (Covid caused) and their impact on anticipated delivery schedules.
Thieves! Run away from them! Currently have filed a Better Business Bureau claim and about to file a small court claim as they told me to ship the furnace back to them at a Bolingbrook, Illinois location (4 hours away from my house). I own a 3rd party delivery company so i had my driver deliver it. The recipient signed my paperwork stating "all 3 packages received in good condition". This was om 8/12/2020. We are just days away from October and I still dont have anything and they just keep saying they haven t received it and that the location they had me return it to is just their 3rd party company and they have to get confirmation from them before they can refund me. So now i have to go to court with these clowns over an $1,800 order. Senseless, thank goodness my furnace works and this was just an upgrade to get central air otherwise my son and I would be very cold right now as its not even hot here anymore but freezing in the mornings. Filing a claim next week probably will post all evidence on youtube and every other review site for them to ensure nobody else gets hurt by these thieves. I wish it was a way to give negative stars for rating this company that's how sorry they are. Completely unprofessional morons
First of all, do not buy anything that LG makes. All junk from China. Secondly, If you buy a PTAC unit, know that when it quits after a month, it will be your responsibility to find a technician to diagnose the issue. Then send in a form to AC Wholesalers to review to see if they will replace the unit, cover the parts or do anything at all. I hope you don't need a quick resolution as I do, because it's not going to happen. Also, good luck finding an HVAC guy who will even look at a PTAC unit. What a joke warranty.
This is one of the WORST companies to do business with. They are very incompetent. Sales rep will give you any tracking number. Poor customer service, manager doesn't know who to speak to for a refund. The CEO, never reads his emails to assist. Waited for a air conditioner unit that was never shipped. It was verified by the transportation delivery service they never received the unit. An to this day Sept. 24th no REFUND AND NO UNIT.
I DON'T THINK DANNY FIGUEROA GUVES A DAMN!!!
I KNOW HIS EMPLOYEES DON'T.
Price and delivery were good. Little did I know that the unit their sales rep promised me was missing the HEAT COIL...now I have to pay $100+ to get one and wait for it so my AC guy can come back out and charge me another service call fee to install the unit.
Make sure you verify you are getting the correct parts
